IRRIGATION AND FLOOD CONTROL DEPARTMENT

(1) Development of Water Resources.
(2) Construction of Irrigation Works.
(3) Maintenance of Government Irrigation Works.
(4) Water management and water Conservation-the Irrigation Department shall be the nodal department for clearance of schemes relating to utilization of water of irrigation and Irrigation Development.
(5) Assessment of Irrigation and Irrigation Development.
(6) Flood Control and Anti-Erosion works including management and control of Drainage and Jhora Tanning Works.
(7) Public Services-Statutory rules of the services with which the Department is concerned.
